A financed construction project

Vornado, Ken Griffin and Rudin announced on October 21 that their 350 Park Avenue joint venture had closed, alongside a $3.3 billion construction loan. The developer says construction is underway on the planned Manhattan office tower, designed by Foster + Partners with 66 storeys and a stated height of 1,400 feet. [1]

Citadel Enterprise Americas has signed an anchor lease covering 1.05 million square feet. The project is planned to provide 1.9 million square feet overall, with 850,000 square feet in its upper portion available to other tenants. The announcement identifies a financing and delivery milestone, not a completed building. [1]

Editorial analysis: For engineers following the project, financing does not establish progress on foundations, the core or the facade. Those stages need separate construction evidence; the release provides no structural-system specification or current floor count.
