The proposed tower
Foster + Partners unveiled 619 Brickell on 4 June 2026. Its announcement describes a 75-story Miami tower with 296 residences, developed by 13th Floor Investments and Key International. The design team includes Sieger Suarez, with residential amenities by Nobu Hospitality. These figures describe the June announcement. [1]
How the form organizes the homes
The architect links the twisting shape to daylight and waterfront views. A continuous balcony ribbon follows the tower, while apartments are grouped into five clusters with amenities and special residence types between them. Different floor layouts balance interior area, outdoor space and orientation. [1]
The engineering questions
Editorial analysis: a changing floor outline makes the relationship between the structural grid, facade panels and balcony edges worth examining. The announcement does not publish a structural scheme, so the visible twist should not be used to infer a particular core or outrigger arrangement. This is a design reveal rather than a completion announcement.
