A project delivery review

Multiplex published a community-impact account for One Leadenhall on 8 October 2026. The contractor says more than £110 million was spent with local businesses during the project. The Make Architects-designed, 35-storey London tower provides 40,000 square metres of office space, alongside retail and public viewing facilities. [1]

The account also describes a 2024 programme with Harris Boys’ Academy in Dulwich. Students explored construction logistics, engineering, commercial work, design and building services through practical sessions. These are retrospective project outcomes reported by the contractor, rather than a new construction-start or opening announcement. [1]

Why delivery skills matter

Editorial analysis: A tower depends on coordinated trades as much as its structural concept. Introducing students to logistics and mechanical, electrical and plumbing work helps explain the range of skills needed to turn a design into an operating building.
